This weekend in Dubai will see a mass exodus of people escaping from the searing summer heat to cooler climes around the world. Not only do the kids break up from school but it’s also Eid Al Fitr which marks the end of Ramadan so a double whammy. Whilst some will just be opting for a short break to take account of the public holiday, many will be leaving for a good month or more to get some respite from the soaring temperatures.
So no more pregnancy posts as our beautiful baby boy has finally arrived. It feels unbelievably strange to actually have him here beside me instead of inside me but also fantastic. The last week has been an absolutely roller coaster of emotions and hormones, I can scarcely believe he’s now just over a week old. How has it been that long since he made his way, yowling very loudly, into the world?
O.k so my last post wasn’t strictly the last one about pregnancy, I’m still flipping pregnant and just waiting for the end now. After having been pregnant for 9 months and having the fertility treatment before that it’s been a long time since I felt my body was my own. Below are some of the things I’m desperate to do again.
