Latest Beauty BuysMost of my purchases have recently been baby centred as we await the impending arrival of our new little person. I have however, found time (and a tiny bit of money!) to purchase a few items for myself. These have been my favourite beauty buys over the last month or so.

Beauty Blender

Beauty Blender

I bought one of these a few months ago and loved it so much I’ve bought another one (you need to replace them every so often). It’s really just a small sponge that you wet and when I first saw it I was pretty sceptical, I mean, it’s just another applicator, how good can it be? However, it seems to apply the product much better than my foundation brush does and gives an amazingly even coverage. Totally worth the price, available in Boots.

Tom Ford – Orchid Soleil

Tom Ford Orchid Soleil

I purchased this on my last trip back to the UK and wow, how much am I love with this fragrance? It’s like summer in a bottle! I already have the Tom Ford Rive D’Ambre which is my favourite night time scent and this lighter fragrance is now a total winner for every day wear. It’s lighter than some of the Tom Ford fragrances but still lingers enough to be noticeable.

Christian Dior Lip Pencil and gloss

Christian Dior Lips

I recently had some professional photos taken for my blog and had my make up done for me in Sephora. The make up artist used both the Contour Pencil and the Rouge Dior Brilliant gloss and I absolutely loved the look so I bought them. I use the pencil all over the lips as opposed to just outlining them and it lasts so much longer. Both are in the colour Grege which sounds awful but looks great on.

Charlotte Tilbury Magic Eye Rescue Cream

Charlotte Tilbury Magic Eye Rescue

I’m a huge fan of Charlotte Tilbury and normally end up purchasing something from the range every time I’m back in the UK. It’s not available in the UAE which is probably good for my bank balance! So far I’m really liking this eye cream, it’s velvety smooth and easily absorbed. I don’t know if I’m seeing a huge difference between this and my usual Estee Lauder Night Recovery so far, I’ll wait and compare results a month or so although, who knows, by then I might need something a bit stronger than cream to hide the bags from being kept awake all night!

Tea Tree & Witch Hazel Spot Wand

Tea Tree & Witch Hazel Spot Wand

I’m now on my third wand with another in the cupboard as a back up and I’m not sure what I’d have done without this product, this summer. I’ve suffered terribly from outbreaks in the latter stages of pregnancy and this wonder product has helped to keep things in check. It’s also very easy to pack when travelling and reduces redness from any unwanted eruptions almost instantly.

If I had to pick one of the above that I absolutely couldn’t do without now that I’ve found it, it would have be the Beauty Blender. I’ve no idea why this little sponge makes such a difference but it really does and I’d highly recommend you to buy one now!
